I'm Aimee, a wedding photographer based in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire.
I'm the woman behind the camera, pretending to be completely unthreatening while secretly watching for the good bits and joining in on the laughter.
I love getting to know the people I photograph. I'm friendly, curious, occasionally ridiculous, and quite happy to make a fool of myself if it means getting you laughing for real.

I'm an extroverted introvert with a questionable sense of humour, an inability to sit still for very long, and an unfortunate habit of getting emotionally invested in other people's weddings.
I'll chat to your guests, laugh at the speeches, and probably get far too excited when something brilliant happens.
Why Photography
Photography has always been part of my life. I grew up surrounded by photo albums and home videos, so I've always valued just how much any moment (no matter how small) can mean one day.
To me, being a photographer is rarely just about capturing what weddings looked like, it's about preserving how they felt.
When I'm Off Duty
When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me gaming, reading, writing creatively, or spending time with my kids.
I'm a lifelong night owl, an enthusiastic nerd, and someone who still does a little happy dance when a couple books me to photograph their wedding.

Your wedding should feel like a celebration, not a photoshoot. I work mostly candidly, with a tiny bit of direction here and there if it's needed, and stepping back when the moment belongs to you.
I'll help you plan the photography around your day, not the other way around. You get to laugh, cry, mingle and enjoy yourselves while I keep an eye out for all the little moments you'll want to remember.
You won’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I've got you covered. Promise.
Years of experience with people and being a part of so many weddings means I know when those real, meaningful moments are about to happen.

I believe if you're having fun, you're doing it right. You're the guests of honour at your own wedding, not the hosts! You shouldn't have to spend the day managing everyone else or worrying about the photos.
I’ll take time to learn what matters to you, help you plan, keep things relaxed, and give you honest advice when something might take you away from enjoying your day.
Art & Emotion
I love gorgeous light, romantic portraits and beautiful compositions. But I'm just as interested in a nervous hand squeeze, the ridiculous dancing and the quiet moments nobody else noticed.
Some photos are beautiful because everything came together perfectly. Others make you smile because they're beautifully and chaotically real. But the best photographers? Capture both.

Choosing your wedding photographer is a personal thing, and you should absolutely feel comfortable with who you trust your day to.
If you care about being yourselves more than perfect poses, want someone who'll happily chat with your guests, and don't mind the occasional terrible joke, then we'll get along brilliantly.
You don't need to practise or learn how to be a model, just be yourselves and I'll take care of the rest.

Common Questions
What if we're awkward in photos?
I've got your backs! Candid photography means capturing you and your guests just as you are. There's no need to perform, nothing to practise, and I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to get those real smiles.
Can we still have posed group photos?
Absolutely. Most of my work is candid, but those mantlepiece shots with your nearest and dearest matter too. We’ll plan the groups you’d like beforehand, then I’ll help organise everyone on the day so you don't have to worry.
Are you willing to travel?
I love to travel! Especially to places I've never been before. I’m based in North East Lincolnshire but I'm always excited to photograph weddings and families all over the country and beyond.
Can you photograph us both getting ready?
Where the locations and timings allow, we can absolutely plan for that. If you’re getting ready in different places at the same time, adding a second photographer may be the most practical option, to save choosing between important moments happening at either end.

Of course. We can arrange a chat about your plans, talk through any questions and see whether we’d enjoy working together.
