About Aimee
Photography has been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl, our family was huge on home videos and my Gran had enough photo albums to fill a library. There was always one of us capturing what was going on. One day, I was suddenly old enough to be trusted with my Dad’s camera, and I was only too happy to help him burn through his film!
It stayed with me all of my life, and when my husband and I got married, I kept catching myself watching what my wedding photographer was doing and thinking “I would love to do that for a living!”
Getting to do what you enjoy for a living is nothing short of a blessing, and I am incredibly grateful to have been featured across multiple publications as well as receiving awards for my work and customer service. My work is about the people just as much as it is about beautiful imagery and it’s really important to me that my clients feel that. I am so unbelievably lucky to now have my dream job. I get to work with the most incredible and fun couples & families and it always feels like a genuine friendship.
My signature style
My forte is all things people, or ‘love and lifestyle’ as I call it which is everything from a Sunday afternoon walk with the dog to your wedding day, and everything in between! I am extremely passionate about documenting the truth of the moment, and take a candid and unscripted approach to creating beautiful, and more importantly, genuine moments of your lives for you and your family.
My style is down-to-earth, naturally romantic fine art photography – I look out for luscious light, striking shadows, creative angles and above all; genuine emotion. The fun and relaxed environment I create puts you and your loved ones at ease, so you can fully enjoy and immerse yourself in your day.
I’m a story-telling photographer, which is exactly what it sounds like! It’s my job to tell your unique story through gorgeous imagery and organically capture you all with as little interference as possible. My aim is to create galleries that anyone could browse and read each image like pages in a book.
When you and your future family generations look back on your photographs, I want you to remember not just what the day looked like, but really feel the emotion woven into each image. My job is so much more than just documenting your day, it’s about artistically preserving it for a lifetime.

I put a tremendous amount of effort into being so much more than your wedding photographer, I provide guidance, ideas and helpful hints to my couples throughout their entire journeys to the altar – I call myself a ‘professional third wheel’ for a reason!
