I’ve won the Hitched Wedding Award 2026 (four years running!)
I’m incredibly grateful (and honestly a bit surprised) to have won the Hitched Wedding Award 2026, making this my fourth year in a row receiving the award.
Last year, Hitched made some big changes to how reviews and awards worked, so this one really caught me off guard. As it turns out, the award is based on genuine reviews left by couples, and I must have secured enough before the changes were made, which makes this one feel especially meaningful (and likely the final one of its kind for me).
What these awards are
The Hitched Wedding Awards celebrate the most highly recommended wedding suppliers across the UK, based entirely on feedback from real couples. Winners are selected using reviews that reflect quality of service, professionalism, and overall experience.
Knowing that this award comes directly from couples I’ve worked with, (people who trusted me to document one of the most important days of their lives!) means more than any badge ever could.
What these awards mean to me
Winning an award for my wedding photography never stops feeling surreal. It isn’t really about the title itself, it’s about knowing that couples trusted me to capture one of the most important days of their lives, and felt happy enough with their experience to say so afterwards.
Every wedding I photograph is completely different. Each one comes with its own energy, emotions, relationships and stories, and my job is to document all of that honestly and thoughtfully, without forcing anything or turning moments into performances. Being recognised for that approach reassures me that my way of working connects with the people it matters most to.
This award doesn’t feel like something I’ve achieved on my own. It belongs just as much to the couples who invited me into their wedding days, welcomed me like a friend, and allowed me to tell their story as it naturally unfolded. Their trust, openness and generosity are what make this job so special.
Like any creative, it means the world to know that your work has been seen, appreciated and genuinely valued. Being able to say I’m an award-winning wedding photographer still gives me a quiet little buzz.
So thank you, truly, to everyone who booked me, recommended me, and took the time to leave a review. This recognition exists because of you, and I’m endlessly thankful for that!

Hitched.co.uk, a UK’s leading wedding planning platform and part of The Knot Worldwide Inc., has announced the winners of its 5th annual Hitched Wedding Awards. Among this year’s honourees is Aimee Lince based in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, recognised as one of the most trusted and highly rated wedding professionals in the country.
These awards celebrate excellence across the UK wedding industry, with winners chosen solely based on genuine reviews from recently married couples. More than 45,000 verified reviews collected in 2025 were analysed across over 31,000 professionals listed on Hitched, making this accolade one of the most comprehensive and transparent recognition programmes in the UK wedding sector.
To qualify, vendors needed to collect a minimum of 7 reviews with an average rating of 4.75/5 between January 1st and December 31st, 2025. Each winner is chosen by couples themselves – a true reflection of authentic experiences, high customer satisfaction and trust.
