Beautiful Outdoor Wedding at Crown Hall Farm – Emma & Emma

Congratulations to the Emmas on their epic Crown Hall Farm wedding! What an amazing day for these two special ladies, I’m so glad I got to be a part of your journey to “I do!”

Both Emmas got ready on site which made it super easy to hop between them for those storytelling prep shots!

Both Emmas looked amazing in their dresses by Osh Gosh Gowns. Both dresses were a surprise for the other and they were both shocked to see how similar their tastes were! Emma D even had two E’s embroidered into her veil which was such a sweet touch.

They had a wonderful ceremony, tailored and delivered by the wonderful Dawn Kemp.

We had so many laughs during their portrait session and got some beautiful shots! We started near the dock and then moved on to a nearby wheat field, I don’t know which photos I like more!

Their story

Tell us all about your ‘the beginning!’

We met online and our first date was a trip to Wales, where we went to Betws-y-coed to Swallow falls, completed a high ropes course, went on many walks and did the worlds fastest and Europes longest zip wire.

When and where did you get engaged?

We went back to the cabin from our first date and Emma D made the first meal she ever cooked for the other Emma. She decorated the cabin with photos and candles and she also videoed the proposal so family could see just how nervous she was and how shocked Emma C was despite not noticing she was down on one knee for a few minutes before she noticed.

What style/theme have you chosen for your wedding?

Summer fayre. Some of the best memories you ever have from childhood are from playing the games at school or local fayre and we wanted everyone to have something memorable to take from this. Emma and I are both big kids at heart and love to do these things.

What are you having your first dance to?

Strangers in the Night by Frank Sinatra.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Seeing each other in our dresses and seeing our guests reaction to the summer fayre games.

What are your top tips for other nearly-weds?

Keep planning, even when you think you have lots of time. It sneaks up on you!
