Some super lucky sunny September sunshine for Emily and Luke’s wedding day! These guys had a really chilled out day at Louth Town Hall!
The Beginning
“We met through a mutual friend both inviting us for an after work drink in Horncastle one Friday night, and then we started talking. One day, we ended up going for a drink just the two of us and that was it. No ‘formal’ first date, just sort of fell into place nicely.”
The Engagement
“Christmas Eve, 2021. Luke played a game of hidden treasure for us with some small Christmas presents. Hidden in the basket of toilet paper (of all places!) was the ring.”
“We are most excited for seeing everyone (hopefully) enjoying the day we’ve put together for them, and looking forward to good food and having fun with all our loved ones.”
Meet Luke
We had a few quick prep shots with Luke! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and very excited for the big day ahead!

Meet Emily
Emily was running around in pyjamas dressing the van with ribbons when I arrived! Emily was as cool as a cucumber, so upbeat yet really relaxed, her energy seemed to radiate on everyone else around her, me included!

Tying the Knot
Emily & Luke had a beautifully classic wedding ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in Horncastle. Emily’s mum gave a lovely reading, hymns were sung and the couple made their grand exit as newlyweds!
Family Photo Time
After several attempts we managed to get a photo with the young man in the bow looking at the camera! We had the family photos at the churchyard because we knew there would be no outside area at the reception.
Wedding breakfast & Speeches
Speeches were given at Louth Town Hall by Emily’s dad, Luke’s mum, Luke himself and finally, the two best men capped off the formalities with a hilarious speech duet!
“I wouldn’t say we have a theme, other than that we’ve tried to keep it all as relaxed as possible. We have a lot of wildflower décor, but it’s quite a mish mash of random bits I’ve been collecting for the last 2 years.”
Cake cut
They cut out a slice of cake and enjoyed a quick taste before hitting the floor for their first dance!
