Big sparkly firework-y congratulations to Rachel & Tom who tied the knot at Mount Pleasant Hotel Doncaster! It was a gorgeous outdoor wedding and we were blessed with sunshine throughout. Wedding photography is always so much easier with a couple who just naturally vibe together, and you can really see it in their photo gallery!
Their highlight video was a little tricky for me because there were soo many shots I wanted to use! I always do my best to include the most important and meaningful moments and fit as much in as I can, but it was impossible to use them all without extremely rapid scene changes! Luckily, that’s not an issue with a photo gallery!
Our Story
Tell us all about your ‘the beginning!’
Me and Tom met at secondary school. My friend and me went to meet one of Toms friends (Mitchell) and he wasn’t there. That’s when me and Tom first met!
What did you do for your first date?
Our first date was at Pizza Hut for Valentines Day!
When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged on the 1st September 2020 in Manchester. Tom proposed whilst on a trip away a few days before his birthday. I was struggling to decide what to wear and he got down on one knee and said this may help you to decide! It was a massive shock!
What style/theme have you chosen for your wedding?
We didn’t choose a particular theme for our wedding just chose colours and styles we liked the look of.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Seeing our girls walk down the aisle and Tom waiting for us all and having a big party and celebration after and the food. Tom said the same as me and he was also excited to see what style of dress I had chosen.
What are your top tips for other nearly-weds?
Top tips would be to go with the flow and to enjoy every moment.
