Summer wedding at Hirst Priory – Beth & Andrew

Beth & Andrew! “You’re simply the best!” What a fantastic wedding day at Hirst Priory, we laughed so much, we cried and we danced in the moonlight next to the pizza van! Congratulations to the wonderful couple and their amazing family! Wishing you and your gorgeous little ones a lifetime of happiness.

Our Story

Tell us all about your ‘the beginning!’

We met at work in 2016, became friends, and started dating in 2017. Our first date was at a Pie Shop in hull, Beth paid for her own pie!

When and where did you get engaged?

Andrew bought Beth a trip to the lake district for the two of them, as a Christmas gift, and proposed on a walk up Lough Rigg Hill while there, Andrew planned to propose there as it was the first trip & walk they had done together to years prior to mark 6 months of going out, Andrew gave the trip as a gift for Christmas, to ensure they went over the same dates, as that first trip. Andrew proposed half way up the hill, because he could see a crowd forming at the top, and bottled it!

What style/theme have you chosen for your wedding?

Dusky pink colour, no set theme, just a big get together with all the people most important to us both, to really celebrate & enjoy the day.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Brides Answers – Having a drink once the ceremony is over, the pizza van and seeing Andrew realise there’s a mini crazy golf course set up.

Grooms Answers – Seeing Beth walk down the aisle.

What are your top tips for other nearly-weds?

Don’t over think the day, and what you need.
