Congratulations to Lauren & Joe who married at Old Clee Church and had their following reception at Cleethorpes Pearl. It was a fantastic day filled with love and laughter!
We all look for someone to grow old with, but really the true secret is finding someone we can stay childish with! Lauren and Joe are just one of those couples whose joy just rubs off on everyone around them! They light up a room just by being in it and it was an honour to be their wedding photographer! They’re such a fun couple and when I asked them if they fancied messing around on the playground for some shots they were all over it!
I have always been a firm believer that your wedding should completely BURST with your personalities! Lauren and Joe did not disappoint! We had Pokémon card invitations, Lego table decorations and even a mint-in-box Pikachu signed by Veronica Taylor herself! Wowzers.
So naturally, I absolutely had to use the Pokémon theme for their highlight video, it would have felt rude not to to be honest! Though I did use a string quartet cover!

We met through mutual friends and a love for hardcore raves. 13 years ago!
When and where did you get engaged?
It was magical from start to finish. It started with flowers being delivered to my front door, followed by a little treasure hunt around the house with gifts, then a knock at the door with Joe, his mums old engagement ring and a puppy!
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Finally walking down the aisle and marrying Joe after 13 years together and having to postponed for 3 years because of Covid.
