These two are the type of couple that just sparkle together, and it was so amazing to see how much joy they bring out in the people around them.
Our Story
Tell us all about your ‘the beginning!’
We first met at school (11 years ago!). The first time we went out together we walked round town very awkwardly, not knowing what to say to one another.
When and where did you get engaged?
It was a planned surprise. Meal at Miller & Carter Steakhouse. Ring was given to the restaurant prior to the day. The staff brought it out on a big decorated plate asking the big question. Rebecca was very shocked she was stunned for a second and nearly broke into tears, luckily tears of joy. Family met us back afterwards at the house to celebrate.
What style/theme have you chosen for your wedding?
The main colour theme for the day is a lilac purple (Rebecca’s favourite colour). The groom, best man and groomsmen will all be in grey suits (also one of Rebecca’s favourite colours). No other themes apart from that, we tried keeping things simple!
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Rebecca – seeing all the family get together.
Grant – Getting the speech out of the way!
What are your top tips for other nearly-weds?
Get things planned sooner rather than later. Don’t stress to much, it all falls into place!
